The latest Guinness World Records holders have been revealed. Records that have made it into the 2018 book include the longest finger nails, the most baked beans eaten with chopsticks in one minute, and a slam dunking rabbit!

Nail artist Ayanna Williams from Houston, Texas has finger nails with a combined length of 18ft 10.9in (576.4cm). Ayanna says she can still perform most everyday tasks relatively easily, but avoids washing up.

Bini the Bunny, owned by Mr. Shai Asor of Los Angeles, holds the record for the most slam dunks by a rabbit. Bini, who practices every night before bed, achieved seven slam dunks in one minute.
And Mr. Cherry Yoshitake of Japan ate 71 baked beans in one minute with chopsticks on 1st July 2015 at RAF (Royal Air Force) Bentwaters, U.K.
Other recordholders included the lady who broke the most eggs with a whip in 30 seconds, and the man from Germany who ate half a pound (252 grams) of Marmite in one minute!
Many crazy stunts have made it into the Guinness Book of Records over the years, with some of the record holders working really hard to receive their “fifteen minutes of fame”. These can be fun for a while; they take our minds off the things of this world, but where do we go when reality hits? We need someone who understands, who’s been there, who knows exactly how we feel.
During His time on earth, Jesus faced hunger, thirst and tiredness. He taught us to love each other, yet He experienced misunderstanding, false accusations, betrayal, violence and torture. He was mocked and hated by the religious hierarchy. He knew what it was to be homeless; He knows what it is to be human.
As Our Daily Bread recently reminded us: “Jesus understands what we’re going through, so He understands when we pour out our hearts to Him and tell Him our troubles. We know that God understands the situations we face because He made us and sees everything that happens to us. We also know He understands because He has been to earth and experienced life as a human being. … He provides hope. He is the Wonderful Counsellor (Isaiah 9:6) who patiently listens to our concerns with insight and care. He is the One who can say, “I’ve been through that. I understand.” So,
“Give all your worries to him, because He cares about you.”
